Debra A. Oliveti 

February 20, 1956 – September 13, 2026 of Philadelphia, PA

Debra A. (née Albright) Oliveti passed away on September 13, 2026, at

the age of 70. She was the daughter of the late Victor and Josephine

Albright; devoted wife of Robert Oliveti; beloved mother of Kristyn

(Timothy) Souder; loving grandmother of Abigail Souder; sister of

Joanne Vickers and the late Victor Albright.

Debra was born and raised in Philadelphia and graduated from Lincoln

High School in 1974. She began her working life as a secretary at PNB

Bank, where she worked on the manual for the original MAC machines,

and later worked as an Executive Secretary at INA Corporation.

After leaving INA, Debra took time away from her career to devote

herself to raising her daughter, Kristyn. When Kristyn was older,

Debra returned to the workforce, joining Reed Technology and

Information Services, where she worked as a U.S. Patent Word

Processor.

A lifelong person of faith, Debra was born an Episcopalian and

attended Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Philadelphia, where she sang in

the choir, taught Sunday School, and served as a director of the Young

People’s Fellowship. She also organized a successful dance-a-thon

fundraiser for cystic fibrosis. Later, after her daughter entered

elementary school, Debra converted to Catholicism and became a devoted

Roman Catholic, remaining deeply involved in her faith and community

throughout her life.

Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church was especially close to Debra’s

heart. It was the parish she loved and considered home until its

closure. While her daughter attended elementary school, Debra was an

active member of the Our Lady of Ransom Home & School Association. She

also shared her love of music through choir service at Our Lady of

Ransom, St. Katherine’s, and St. Cecilia’s, all in Philadelphia.

Debra’s generosity extended beyond her church and local community. For

more than ten years, she sponsored a young girl named Sofia in South

America through Compassion International, a sponsorship that will

continue after her death.

Debra enjoyed crocheting, reading, solving Sudoku puzzles, and digital

coloring. She was a passionate Philadelphia Phillies fan and proud

season ticket holder. Most of all, she loved spending time with her

granddaughter, Abigail, and treasured the memories they made together.

Debra will be remembered for her deep faith, generous spirit, and

devotion to her family and community. She was a loving wife, mother,

and grandmother whose family meant the world to her. She leaves behind

a legacy of love, faith, service, and cherished memories that will

remain with all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay respects Saturday, September

26, 2026 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church,

535 Rhawn St, Philadelphia, PA 19111.

Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Calvary

Cemetery in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Debra’s

memory to the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation or Fox Chase

Cancer Center.
