After completing her graduate studies, Miriam established a private counseling practice where she provided addiction, marriage, and family counseling for many years, devoting her life to helping individuals and families heal and rebuild their lives. In 1998, Miriam founded My Father’s House, a nonprofit substance abuse and rehabilitation center that reflected her lifelong commitment to serving others with compassion, faith, and understanding.
